Excellent Location. But the rooms are not maintained properly. Blankets were very dirty. Toilet was broken and not cleaned hence dark in colour. Pillows with saliva maps on it. When complained, the response was like "you need me more than I need you".

Horrible hotel in terms of infrastructure and staff too. We had agreed to pay a higher fee and they still have a bad quality room. AC didn’t work , geyser didn’t work . After complaining against this they changed the room and surprise surprise in the new room the current goes off fully.

Particularly to mention, situated in heart of the city and near to the Railway station. I have felt that Tirunelveli tradition and class in all aspects of this hotel. Overall it was good and customer friendly.

check in was smooth rooms were average we had booked 5 rooms and all had problems. One room the lighting was so poor that we could not see the switch panel which had something written on it. The light ( 3 or 5 w bulb) was placed at the corner of the room hence no reading could be done lying on the bed. All the door knobs could not be opened from outside so if you accidentally step out of the room you are stuck outside. One room the toilet flush knob was stuck to the wall using cellophane tape. The air conditioners in two rooms were the obsolete variety without temperature control. One room the flush tank took ages to fill and the reason given was the hotel was fully occupied. The restaurant was no great. The complimentary menu daily was two idlis, one medu vada and choice between and dosa and pongal. Very depressing. Inspite of all the unpleasantness, will definitely commend the lady at the front desk and Mr.Dhanpal for giving us a patient hearing and doing their best to reduce our troubles. Unfortunately, they were helpless in resolving infrastructural issues. The management needs to step in here and rectify the problems. Another thought crossed my mind, maybe the almost 9 month lockdown due to the pandemic could have resulted in poor maintenance.
